The "Big Feds," and Why I Don't Want to Be One

Well, well, well, another column. I was brainstorming some ideas to write, and I came to thinking about my conversation with the FedWars guy. Our biggest discussion was about the Big Feds, as he called them, and how we must have contracts to protect ourselves. Well, allow me to rebut.

First of all, I think I have reason to beleive that most of you guys are rather loyal to me and GCW. We've been through a lot, and you've stuck with me. Now, he required contracts so that the "Big Feds" wouldn't lure the guys away. First of all, my most obvious argument. What is physically stopping someone from joining another fed, contract or no contract?

Then, of course, is the big thing I wonder about. What makes a "Big Fed" so damned attractive? I mean, it can't be name recognition, because there is no one e-fed that everyone knows about. Personally, I'd prefer it in a "small" fed with a roster of only 30 guys or so, like us. With a roster of 100 guys and all these weird features to mess with on the site, how do these guys find time to run a fed?

And that's why I don't want to be considered a "big" fed. That's not what this is about. There shouldn't be much competiton. I think that the wrestlers of GCW are good enough, (so is their President. . .cough. . .) To be the one fed that everyone knows. But I don't want the reputation of just trying to steal guys from "smaller" feds. One of these days, President Caldera and his loyal wrestlers will be destined for notoriety on the internet. We'll go to new heights. One of these days.

Unless, of course, the WWF wisens up and hires me, first.
