In the beginning. . .

To start off my first column, I think I'll begin by explaining a bit of our past. We have received quite a few new applicants, and I think we ought to explain where we came from. Of course, by we, I mean myself, and the original roster of a fed called CWU. And, to explain how I came to be with the CWU, you need to know how I got involved in e-feds. I received an e-mail one day from a guy who was starting an e-mail fed. It was called the ACWF. I had never been in an e-fed before, but I thought that this was a good way to burn some time. So I applied. Now, this was not a great fed. It accepted real characters, including a guy that applied as the Rock. You now know him as Octavian. But we had some talent, including a guy named Khan. Well, the fed only lasted a month. We got to our first Pay-Per-View, where Steven Caldera won the World Title. Now, during my stay in ACWF, someone had somehow used my e-mail address to send an app into the CWU. Their president IMed me, and we got to talking. He attempted to recruit me as a wrestler, but I told him that I would rather try my hand at writing. He immediately accepted me, and I began writing matches for him. And so began a beutiful partnership. . .That lasted all of two weeks. People had immediately hated my character, as they had in ACWF, and I was getting knocked on by everyone. But as a writer and booker, I was loved. Now, about this time, the President of CWU began having some troubles, and took some time off. This left me n charge. We lasted through three Pay-Per-Views. Unfortunately, I hired a new webmaster, and this new webmaster could not get along with the then-returning original President. This kinda caught us in the middle. I won't go into great depths about the arguments themselves. I thought it was stupid then, and still do. So I turned the name CWU back over to the original President, and left on my own. But the wrestlers followed me. And that is the foundation of GCW.

I am on good terms with the President of CWU. He has been a big help in building GCW, and even designed our logo. I am liking GCW so far. It's the first time I've been able to run a fed on my own, without feeling like there is someone looking over my shoulder. GCW is going to run on the same thing my CWU ran on. And that's creativity and writing. I like storlyines and vivid description, and that's what I go for in my card writing. But I didn't become the creative genius you know and love today (and I'm modest, too. Hehe.) So, to close, I have included one of my first roleplays ever, from the ACWF. And, to insure a little embarassment, I've added one from Octavian (the Rock) and Khan. I hope everyone gets a good laugh. -President Steven Caldera

*Rock enters the arena and 'IF YAAAA SMMMMEEELLLL' is heard as he walks down the People's Ramp and into the ring and grabs a mike*

Finally, The Rock has come back to the ACWF!! Now as I sat in my locker room, getting ready to go out and entertain the Millions AND MILLIONS of the Rock's fans, I realized that in my entire career, I have never ever seen a bigger jabroni then the Weasal! So tonight I offer a challenge, before my temporary absense from the ACWF (I'm goin to Italy so I won't be able to play). The Rock says he wants to face you...one on one with the Great One..............because I feel that there has never been a bigger jabroni then you. If you want to respond to the People's Challenge, you know where I'll be.

*Rock's Music plays as he exits the ring and leaves The People's Arena*

-----------------------

(The camera slowly focuses on a short, muscular japanese man with long platinum hair. Standing in an empty arena, His music is blaring, he stares angrily into the camera leans forward, peering into the lens..He speaks quickly, precisely)

'Cut the music!'

(The music stops)

'As I will be quick to point out, I have just signed with this league. Most of you dont know me, and thats too bad, because you will know me soon. I am Khan, Japanese Warrior and the bringer of death. And I'm this league's worst nightmare. I'm going straight to the top, and I will get to the top, If I have to lay out each and every one of you weaklings on my way there. And I will not Hesitate to do so'

'Now, there seems to be a..Hardcore battle royal at this Monday Night Madness, and I Seem to be in it. You are all very brave, to just open the door and usher in your defeat, and everyone else who is in that match. I will prove to everyone in the federation, that I am the best, I will destroy each and every one of you, in any match, any time, any way. Feel the wrath of the Tiger Driver, Feel the wrath of Khan!'

'So..put down your petty squabbles, fools, and band together, so maybe, just maybe, you will have a small chance of survival.'

'Oh..and if any one of you is feeling brave, and thinking about challenging me to a match, dont hesitate, challenge away, I'll take on all comers, in any type of match, One on One, One on two, one on three, four, five, or the me against the whole damn federation, lay down the challenge, and seal your fate.'

(he mutters a quick phrase in his native language, the lights flicker.....and he is gone)

-----------------------

(The camera zooms in on a solitary Steven Caldera. He sits in his dimly lit dressing room, sweat dripping froom his face. He is obviously pumped about tonight.)

Caldera- Tonight is the first ever ACWF event. I'd say that makes tonight rather historical. That means that nobody will be holding anything back tonight. Every ounce of energy from every last superstar on the roster will be expended tonight in an effort to leave their mark forever. The talent and the performances that will be displayed here tonight will be unforgettable. But while everyone else has been trash talking, trying to make themselves look like big men, I've been here, alone, getting ready for war. You have overlooked this unstopable machine, and tonight you will pay. Whatever I end up having to do tonight it will be done to absolute PERFECTION. Because that is what I'm about. Second just isn't good enough. So tonight I begin my path to become the first ACWF Heavyweight Champion. Anyone who thinks they can stop me is welcome to try. But when it's all said and done, and you're looking at the lights listening to my music, you'll have learned what it is like. . . to be beaten by the best.
