HEATWAVE LIVE ON PPV

The show opens with a bang, and the much anticipated Heatwave is underway! The PPV is being broadcasted to over thirty countries worldwide, and the American Airlines Center has been sold out for three months. Anticipation has been growing out of control since the PPV was restructured, and tonight Rich Rollins defends his title against unlikely challenger John Reed.

The action begins as Toad heads to the ring to take on Jason Dread for the Hard*core title. Dread begins with some classic wreslting moves, working Toad's lower back with a chinlock. Toad comes back with a hard powerslam, and heads to the floor to collect his weapons. In come the goodies, and Toad slides back in. Dread is waiting with a clothesline, but Toad ducks and lifts Dread up, planting him with a piledriver on a chair! But Dread kicks out to save his title. Toad then places a trash can over Dread's upper body, and heads to the top! Toad takes off and hits the Toad Jam on Dread while he's in the can! Toad throws off the can and covers for the one. . . two. . . three- NO! The referee is pulled out of the ring at the last second by Dimensioner! Dimensioner beats on Toad while X-Caliber appears, setting up a table! Dimensioner then powerbombs Toad through the table on the floor. X-Caliber pulls Dread to the floor and drapes him over Toad. Dread is out cold, but gets the three count to retain his title.

We head backstage, where Commissioner Octavian and President Caldera are arriving. They both unpack their gear and head to the locker rooms to prepare for their matches.

We head back to ringside for the TV title match. Dan Rivero, Heckler, and Zippy all head to the ring. The match stars with Rivero and Heckler squaring off, while Zippy watches in awe. Rivero takes over, and powers Heckler out of the ring. He then heads for Zippy, who takes him down with a drop toe hold. Rivero seems startled at Zippy's wrestling move, and stands only to get a dropkick. Zippy pounds on Rivero in the corner, only to be taken down frm behind by Heckler. Heckler stomps away at Zippy, and Rivero recovers to join in. Heckler then breaks off to assault Rivero. Zippy slowly recovers, as Rivero takes Heckler down with a powerslam. Rivero then takes a breather in the corner, as Zippy gets to the top rope! Zippy takes off, and hits the Zip Flip on Heckler! Zippy gets a two count, but Rivero flies in from the top rope with the Rivero Elbow on Zippy! Rivero rolls Zippy off, and covers Heckler for the win. New Television champion!

Heckler appears backstage, where Dero, Danger, and the Jhub are waiting to celebrate with him. Dero says he can't wait to pin Caldera later, and the Jhub makes it known that he will become the commissioner later on.

Capo heads to the ring to challenge Mike Hardy for the cruiserweight title. Hardy and Capo lock up, and Capo takes control. Capo takes Hardy over with a snapmare, but Hardy rolls to his feet and hits Capo with a big dropkick. Hardy tosses Capo to the outside, and follows it up with an insane suicide dive! Hardy rolls back into the ring, followed by Capo. Capo manages to hit a low blow on Hardy, who slumps to the mat. Capo takes to the air, hitting a big splash on Hardy from the top. Capo covers for a two count. Capo lifts Hardy up, and sends him into the ropes. Hardy gets caught in a hurricanrana on the way back, but kicks out at a two count. Capo then heads to the top again, but Hardy leaps to the top and brings him down with an armdrag from the top! Capo is hurt, and Hardy heads to the top. Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb for the three count and the win!

We then watch as the ring crew set up a ladder in the center of the ramp. LeStatt Knight and Tristain Mayhem head to the ring for the culmination of their intense feud. Knight takes over early, hitting a DDT to slow Mayhem down. Knight heads to the outside to grab the ladder, but Mayhem dives over the top rope, landing with a cross body on the ladder and taking Knight down hard! Both men are hurt already, as Mayhem pulls the ladder into the ring. Mayhem begins to climb, but Knight takes him down with a clothesline from the second trunbuckle. Knight then tries to climb, but Mayhem shoves the ladder over, sending Knight over the top rope to the floor. Mayhem pulls the ladder back up, but places it next to the ropes. Knight stands, and Mayhem takes off from the ladder, with a suicide dive from high above the floor! After some time to recover, both men brawl on the floor for a while. Knight takes over, sending Mayhem into the crowd. Knight then places the ladder next to the ropes, and takes off from the very top, flying with a dive over the guardrail and into the crowd! After this breathtaking move, replays are shown while the two recover. Both men struggle into the ring, but Mayhem beats Knight there. Knight manages to take Mayhem down with a piledriver, and he sets up the ladder. Mayhem manages to get up at the last second, shoveing the ladder over. Knight lands headfirst on the steel post of the turnbuckle, allowing Mayhem to scale the ladder and grab his belt. Mayhem retains in an amazing match! Both of these men have bright futures.

It's time for the grudge match. Dero heads to the ring, accompanied by Danger. Caldera follows, and a fight insues. The two men tear into each other on the outside, tearing up the announce area as they brawl. Dero clocks Caldera with a montior, and covers for a two count. Caldera recovers, and hits Dero with a big clothesline. But Danger hits Caldera from behind with a forearm. Caldera turns his attention to Danger, but Dero recovers and takes Caldera down from behind with a chair shot. Caldera is busted wide open as Dero slides him into the ring. Danger hands Dero a chair, but Caldera catches Dero off guard, hitting the Caldera Drop! Caldera takes a moment to cover, and finally does. But Dero kicks out at two! Caldera is amazed, as he lifts Dero up. Caldera sets Dero up for another Caldera Drop, but the nw TV champion Heckler runs in. Heckler chop blocks Caldera, allowing Dero to hit the DeroBomb on the chair for the win. Dero finally pins Caldera in their third match! Afterwards, Dero and Heckler begins assaulting Caldera. Danger seems concerned, and tries to break them off. But Heckler and Dero continue to relentlessly assault the boss with the chair. Danger tries to stop them again, but Dero turns around and delivers the DeroBomb to Danger! They then lifts Caldera up, and Heckler plants Caldera with the Final Insult. Dero and Heckler leave, united as the cOd!

Octavian and the Jhub make their way to the ring, and begin their fight for the commisisonership. The Jhub takes control early, but Octavian takes things back with a leg drag into a leg lock. The Jhub counters with some impressive techincal skills, reversing Octavian into a single leg crab. Octavian reverses this into another leg lock, but the Jhub gets into the ropes. Octavian punishes the Jhub with a backbreaker and an inverted atomic drop. The Jhub comes back with a dropkick and a high cross body for a close two count. The action spills to the outside, where Octavian and the Jhub fight into the crowd. Octavian whips the Jhub to the barricade, but the Jhub reverses. Octavian goes flying over, and his head hits the steel steps. Octavian is busted open and bleeding, as the Jhub takes control. The Jhub moves Octavian into the ring, and takes him down with a big belly to belly suplex. The Jhub then locks on the Sharpshooter! Octavian looks to be in trouble, and he can't reach the ropes! Finally, Octavian bridges up, and miraculously breaks the hold! As the Jhub falls over, Octavian hooks his legs and pulls back, locking on the Roman Rapper! The Jhub screams out in pain, and reaches for the ropes. . . He reaches out one last time. . . But Octavian pulls him back into the middle of the ring! Octavian, blood dripping from his face, holds on until the Jhub finally submits! Octavian is still the commish!

Finally, it is time for the main event. John Reed comes out to the ring alone, followed by Rollins who is also alone. They begin with some basic moves, and Rollins dominates Reed early on. Rollins takes Reed to school with some quick Japanese armbars and takedowns. Reed slowly builds some offense, hitting Rollins with some sharp rights. Reed hits the ropes, but is shut down by a pump-handle slam from the champ. Rollins heads up top for the Anarchist Elbow early, but Reed rolls out of the way. Rollins simply jumps to the mat. Rollins hammers away at Reed a while longer, with Reed trying in vain to gain some offense. Finally, Reed stops Rollins with a big clothesline. Reed drops a leg, and then sends Rollins into the ropes. Rollins comes back with a superkick! But Reed ducks it, and scoops Rollins up for the cradle tombstone! Reed hits it! He covers for the one. . . two. . . thre- The referee is pulled out by Eric Allen! Allen and Toxic both hit the ring, going after Reed. However, Hanson and Toad head to the ring to help! Allen and Toxic battle it out with Toad and Hanson, while both Reed and Rollins lay in rest. Toad manages to come off the top rope with the Toad Jam on Rollins! Toad pulls Reed on top of Rollins, and the referee lets it go! Reed gets a two count, but Allen flies in from the top with a guillotine leg drop to the back of Reed's skull. Toxic then places Rollins on top of Reed for the count! Rollins only gets a two, until Hanson pulls Rollins up! Rollins manages to hit Hanson with a superkick, while Toad contends with Toxic and Allen. But as Rollins turns around, Reed is waiting! Reed scoops Rollins up, and hits another Cradle Tombstone! Allen and Toxic try to get back in, but Toad holds them back! They watch in anguish as the referee counts to three, and a new champion is crowned!! John Reed defeats Rich Rollins in the greatest upset of all time. Reed, Hanson, and Toad celebrate in the ring, as Toxic, Allen, and Rollins retreat. Reed stares at the CWU belt he holds, then spits on it. The crowd goes crazy as Reed regains the title for GCW.
