Meltdown Results

(The GCW logo flashes on the screen, before we switch to scenes from last week’s Meltdown.)

Bryan-  Octavian is showing no mercy here!  What’s gotten into him?

Bryan-  Mayhem hits the ropes, and charges Octavian!  HAMMER ON!  Mayhem hits a huge leaping DDT on the Commissioner, right out of the Roman Rapper!  Octavian goes down, and Mayhem covers!

Yale-  ONE!  TWO!  THREE!!!  But Octavian wasn’t the legal man!

Bryan-  It got too chaotic to keep track of anything!  Mayhem came in and hit Hammer On on the Commissioner, and got the pinfall!  What a match!

(The scenes end with a shot of Rich Rollins’ angry glare.  Finally, the Meltdown logo appears, and the theme music cues up!  Pyro explodes from the rafters and stage, as the crowd goes crazy!  The camera pans over the fans as they get pumped up for a HUGE show.)

Bryan-  With over eighteen thousand fans in attendance, we are live in Los Angeles, California for another edition of Meltdown!  I’m James Bryan at ringside with David Yale, and Dave, this night should be incredible.

Yale-  That’s right!  Tonight, Dan Rivero has the opportunity of a lifetime, when he takes on John Reed for the world title!  President Caldera takes on Big Daddy Dero in a cage match, and Luke Hanson takes on the Commissioner!

Bryan-  Tristain Mayhem will be taking on Jason Dread in what could be a tremendous fight, and newcomer Great Tiger will take on Big Skails.

Yale-  I can’t wait to see this cage match tonight.  Big Daddy Dero and Steven Caldera hate each other more than any two men ever could, and things could explode in there tonight!

Bryan-  If Dero wins tonight, he gets the next shot at the world champion!  Dero has won one of three matches against Caldera in their careers, tonight he hopes to even things up!

Yale-  And what about Octavian and Luke Hanson?  Octavian seems to have snapped, JB, and tonight he may be taking out some frustration on the young Fueler!

Bryan-  All that and our big world title match, here tonight in LA!

(The camera cuts backstage.  We are in President Caldera’s makeshift office, where Caldera sits behind a desk.  Sitting in a chair in front of him is Tom, Tristain Mayhem’s manager and guardian.)

Caldera-  Tom, I hired you to look after Tristain.  The guy is good, I’ll give him that.  And the crowd seems to like him.  But damnit, Tom, listen to this. . .

Tom-  Uh-oh. . .

Caldera-  Six thousand dollars for a new United States title belt.  Thirteen thousand dollars in bail money.  Three thousand dollars in tickets and fines. . . That’s twenty-two thousand dollars, Tom.  And do you know where this money comes from?  It comes from my pocket, from the profits I would be making from Mayhem’s merchandise.  Something needs to be done here.

Tom-  I understand, Steven.  The kid has a good heart, but he just can’t help but get into trouble.

Caldera-  I tried talking to him last week, but the kid won’t listen to me.  He seems to listen to you, though.  I pay you good money to keep Tristain in line. . . So I would appreciate it if you would do your job and keep him out of trouble.

Tom-  Yes, sir. . .

(Tom stands up and heads for the door.  As he reaches for the knob, the door swings open.  It hits Tom right in the nose, and Tom falls right to the floor.  From behind the door walks Tristain Mayhem himself.  The crowd cheers as they see him on the MegaTron.  Caldera looks down at Tom, who is clutching his nose.  Mayhem smiles, embarrassed.)

Caldera-  Help him up, Tristain.

Mayhem-  Sorry, boss. . .

(Mayhem pulls Tom to his feet, and helps him out of the room.  The camera looks at Caldera one more time, who drops his head to his desk once more in disbelief of this kid. . .)

(We return to ringside, where the crowd cheers as the camera zooms in on them.)

Andrews: And his opponent, weighing in at 275 pounds, The Great TIIIGEERRR!!!

{ Tiger's music blasts on the sound system as Tiger steps out to a mixed reaction mostly boo's from Oblivion's attack }

Yale- The fans here know that Tiger attacked Hardy on Oblivion and they are not welcoming Tiger very nicely.

Bryan- With the interference by Tiger, Hardy lost the GCW Cruiserweight title to the Rookie Chris Edge.

Yale- { Mocking } He is totally like a great champ!

Bryan- Never do that again...EVER!

Yale- No time for jokes, we are under way with out first bout. Tiger runs at Skails and hits him with a back elbow. Skails staggers back and is hit with a flipping drop kick.

Bryan- Tiger coming out strong in the first few seconds! Tiger sprints to the ropes, Skails back up. Tiger tries for a cross body but Skails catches him!

Yale- What strength! Skails runs to the corner and just squashes Tiger into the turnbuckle. Wait! Skails still has a hold on Tiger and he just throws the man with a fall away slam!

Bryan- Wow! And I thought Tiger was in control. Skails sits up and walks to the ropes. Ouch! Drops a knee on the forehead of Tiger.

Yale- Skails grabs Tiger and sets him between his legs. HUGER POWER BOMB! TIGER IS DOWN!

Bryan- That had to hurt! Skails drops on Tiger! 1...2...3NO! Tiger kicks out!

Yale- Skails back up and he's putting him between his legs again! Skails overlooks the crowd and lifts TIGER BACK UP! MY GAWD! POWER BOMB!

Bryan- Another power bomb by the big man. Skails raises his arm and yells to the crowd.

Yale- He falls for the cover! It has to be over! 1...2...3NO! No! Tiger just got the shoulder up at the last second!

Bryan- Skails shows the look of desperation. Skails lifts Tiger back up and sets him back in between his legs.

Yale- Not another one! Big Skails lifts TIGER UP! BUT TIGER IS FIGHTING IT! TIGER WITH A REVERSAL! A PERFECT HURICANRANNA!

Bryan- Both men are down and struggling to get up. Skails gets to the ropes and lifts him self up. Skails runs at Tiger, Tiger side steps him and what a great drop toe hold. Skails head just hit the mat.

Yale- Tiger up and drops an elbow on the back on Skails head. Tiger jumps to the top and awaits Skails to stand up.

Bryan- Tiger flies and hits a missile drop kick!

Yale- Tiger rolls over, 1...2..NO! Skails kicks out!

Bryan- Tiger back up and lifts Skails back to vertical base. Tiger runs to the ropes, Spring board moonsault!

Yale- No Skails catches him! Skails falls and lands on top of Tiger!

Bryan- Huge power slam. Skails too lays on Tiger! 1...2.. NO!

Yale- Tiger won't stay down. Skails lifts Tiger back up and whips him to the corner. Tiger jumps and lands sitting on the top rope. Skails runs in and gets a boot to the jaw. Skails staggers into the corner and Tiger grabs Big Skails.

Bryan- Crisp top rope DDT. Tiger back up and springs boards off the second rope and lands on Skails!

Yale- Big Splash on Skails! 1...2..No! Skails gets the shoulder up!

Bryan- Tiger lifts Skails up, and sends him to the rope, Tiger hops over, Skails comes back and is met with a kick to the mid section. Tiger grabs Skail's hairs and falls to the mat!

Yale- Nice face buster by Tiger! Tiger drags Skails into the middle of the ring. Tiger runs and jumps on the top rope. Tiger looks at the crowd and yells out. HUGE MOON SAULT!!! TIGER LANDS RIGHT ON SKAILS!!

Bryan- HE COULD HAVE IT! 1...2...3! YES! Tiger wins!

Yale- Great match by both these men! Tiger is victorious as 3-pac helps Skails to the back!

(The show fades to commercial.)

(We return to Meltdown, as we head back to ringside.)

Bryan-  Well, fans, thanks for joining us here on Meltdown.  Just as a reminder, don’t forget FallOut!  GCW FallOut comes to you LIVE on Pay-Per-View Sunday, September 23.  What an event that will be!

(After seeing the FallOut promo, the show heads backstage once more.  Kevin Jacobs is standing with Dan Rivero.  Rivero holds his TV title belt over his shoulder.)

Jacobs-  Dan Rivero, tonight you have a shot at the Heavyweight championship of the world.  This could be a once in a lifetime shot here, so how do you plan on capitalizing?

Rivero-  Once in a lifetime?  Once in a lifetime?  The only reason I wouldn’t get another shot, Kevin Jacobs, is because that wimp John Reed would never face me again.  But you know what, it doesn’t matter.  Because tonight I will take that title, and Reed won’t have to worry about it any more.  This is what I’ve been waiting my whole life for, Jacobs.  Tonight, I get the shot that I’ve been earning for the past four months.  Tonight, John Reed’s underdog title reign comes to an end.  They call Reed the underdog champion, well that’s what he is.  He beat Rollins on a fluke, and I’m gonna capitalize on that.

Jacobs-  Well, let’s back up a bit.  What about Jason Dread?  Why did you assault him last week, and what do you have planned for him in the future?

Rivero-  Dread was a message, nothing more.  He just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  I wanted to show Reed that I’m not sitting behind the scenes any more.  I’m not gonna take this lying down.  Dan Rivero is THE MAN, and I’m going to prove that to the world.  If Dread has a problem with me, then we can settle it in the ring.  But tonight, I am taking what is rightfully mine, and that is the GCW Title.  Now get the hell out of my way, Jacobs.  I’ve got a title to win.

(Rivero shoves Jacobs to the side, and walks away.  Jacobs glares back at Rivero, but doesn’t dare speak.  The camera leaves Jacobs, and returns to ringside.)

Bryan-  Well, Dan Rivero doesn’t seem to be lacking in confidence!  But the man he was just talking about, Jason Dread, is about to make his way out here to face the United States Champion, Tristain Mayhem, in a non-title bout.

(Just Got Wicked hits, and the crowd begins to cheer a bit.  Jason Dread emerges from the back, walking slowly because of Rivero’s attack last week.  Dread slowly walks to the ring, as the crowd begins to cheer a bit more.)

Andrews-  The following contest is set for one fall.  Introducing first, from Southern Tracks, Arizona, he weighs in at 223 pounds. . . Jason Dread!

Yale-  Jason Dread has made quite the impact in his short stay here in GCW.  He even took the Hard*core title from Toad in his debut match, which is not something many people can say they’ve done!

Bryan-  Dread has made a few enemies here in GCW so far, but right now I think he has his sights set on Rivero.  But if he doesn’t focus on Mayhem here tonight, he could be in a world of trouble!

(Dread steps through the ropes, as the crowd’s now mixed reaction dies down.  Outtayermind hits next, and the crowd explodes in cheers.  Tristain Mayhem walks out from the back, and stops to salute the crowd with his US title belt.  With a strut in his walk, he heads for the ring.)

Andrews-  And his opponent, from Birmingham, England, he weighs in at 252 pounds, and he is the GCW United States Champion. . . Tristain Mayhem!

Bryan-  Momentum is the name of the game, and momentum is what Tristain Mayhem has!  He’s only lost once in his GCW career, losing to Toxic at Annihilation thanks to LeStatt Knight.  But Mayhem is the United States champion now, and he is on a roll!

Yale-  And he certainly has made an enemy in Rich Rollins, which is not a good enemy to have!  The Renegade has been really furious with this youngster lately, and I can’t say that I blame him!

(Mayhem steps into the ring, and hops onto the turnbuckle.  A loud pop followed by red pyro explodes from the opposite corner, and the fans cheer along.  Mayhem then steps down, as his music fades out.  He surrenders his belt to the referee, as they prepare for the match.  But without warning, Iron Man hits.  The crowd begins to boo instantly, as Mayhem’s attention turns to the stage.)

Bryan-  Wait a minute, what’s he doing out here?  Rich Rollins is making his way to the ring!

Yale-  He’s got his eyes locked on Mayhem, and Mayhem is staring right back!  Rollins gets to the ring, but he’s walking around it!  Mayhem follows his every move, as Dread just looks on!

Bryan-  Well, it looks like we’re going to be joined by the Renegade here at the announce table!

(Mayhem and Rollins maintain their stare until Rollins sits at the announce table.  The referee rings the bell, but Mayhem continues staring at Rollins.)

Yale-  We’re joined now by former two-time world champion Rich Rollins.  Welcome!

Rollins-  Don’t worry, JB, I’m just here to keep an eye on Mayhem.

Bryan-  Well, you really could have done that from backstage. . . Wait a minute, Dread attacks Mayhem from behind!  Mayhem was focused on Rollins, until Dread hits him from behind!

Yale-  Dread hammers away with some shard right hands, and now sends Tristain off into the ropes!  Mayhem bounces back, and takes a hiptoss from Dread!  Mayhem rolls through and back to his feet, but Dread is still on him!

Bryan-  Dread has him set back up again, and he tosses Mayhem into the ropes for a second time!  Mayhem hits the ropes, and bounces back!  Dread rears back, and takes Mayhem down with a big clothesline!

Rollins-  I think I have every right to be out here, JB.  This little punk can’t go disrespecting a former two time world champion like the way he did.  He stuck his nose in my business first.

Yale-  Dread lifts Mayhem to his feet, and pushes him back into the turnbuckle!  Dread swings with a knife-edge chop!

(The crowd chants ‘Whoo!’ with each chop.)

Yale-  And another!  And another!  Dread is really going to work on the United States Champion!  Dread now sends Mayhem off into the opposite corner, and Mayhem hits hard!  Dread follows him in, but Mayhem slips out of the way!

Bryan-  Dread hits the corner, and ricochets out!  Mayhem hits the ropes behind him, and comes back with a bulldog!  Dread is down, as Mayhem recovers!

Rollins-  And listen to these fans!  They love this guy.  I can’t imagine why, though.  They used to cheer me, until I won the title the second time.  I don’t know why they turned their backs on me so fast in favor of a punk like this.

Bryan-  Oh, come on!  You turned your back on the fans first, Rich!  Mayhem isn’t the bad guy here!

Yale-  Mayhem is up, and he lifts Dread to his feet!  Mayhem whips Dread off into the corner, and catches him on the way back with a big flying clothesline!  Dread goes down, and Mayhem covers!

Bryan-  ONE!  TWO!  Kickout by Dread.  Mayhem argues the count, but Dread was out fairly.  Mayhem lifts Dread to his feet, and sends him into the corner!  He follows Dread in, but Dread gets a boot up!

Yale- Mayhem is staggered, as Dread charges out of the corner!  But Mayhem catches him in mid-stride, and launches him over with a huge back body drop!  Great elevation there!

Bryan-  Dread lands hard on the canvas, and Mayhem follows it up with a big elbow drop!  Mayhem now swings back to his feet, and looks out to the fans!

(The crowd cheers Mayhem, but Dread doesn’t stay down for long.)

Rollins-  Keep your eye on the ball, rookie. . .

Yale-  Mayhem turns back to Dread, who is waiting for him!  Dread locks Mayhem up and drags him over with a fierce snap mare!  Dread plants his knee in Mayhem’s back, and pulls back with a rear chinlock!

Bryan-  Submission hold here from Dread, and Mayhem is in real trouble here!  All this talk about Mayhem, and we forget about Dread.  Jason Dread seems like a real player, and he’s not letting Mayhem’s momentum intimidate him!

Yale-  Dread is really pulling on Mayhem’s neck, but Mayhem finally twists around, and Dread holds him in a side headlock!  But Mayhem is powering to his feet!  Dread still has that hold locked on, but Mayhem plants an elbow into Dread’s bread basket!

Bryan-  And another!  A third elbow has Dread staggered!  Mayhem backs both of them into the ropes, and shoves Dread off!  No, Dread holds on and drags Mayhem right back to the mat again!  Great skill by Dread!

Rollins-  See, this guy is good.  He doesn’t listen to the fans, he just goes out there and gets the job done.  That cocky little bastard Mayhem had better watch himself in there.

Yale-  Mayhem is once again trying to get to his feet, and Dread isn’t able to keep him down!  Mayhem powers to his feet, as Dread moves behind him, now locking on a sleeper hold!  Mayhem could be in real trouble here!

Bryan-  Dread is showing some incredible technical skills here, as Mayhem struggles to break free!  But this sleeper hold is causing the champion to fade fast!  Mayhem is down to a knee!

Yale-  Now he’s on all fours. . . I think Mayhem may be out!  The referee is checking on him, but this could be over!  The referee begins the count. .  .He lifts Mayhem’s arm. . . and it drops!  He lifts it again, and it drops again!  Once more and it’s over!

Bryan-  The referee raises Mayhem’s arm again. . . But Mayhem keeps it up!  Mayhem is still in it!  The crowd is going crazy as Mayhem once again powers to his feet!  But Dread has that sleeper locked in tight!

Yale-  Mayhem manages to struggle to the corner, but Dread isn’t letting go!  Wait, Mayhem is climbing the turnbuckle while Dread holds him in the sleeper!  Mayhem gets to the second rope, and pushes off!

Bryan-  Dread loses his balance, and falls backwards!  Mayhem rolls over, and he’s got him in a pinning predicament!  ONE!  TWO!  THREE-  NO!!!  Dread barely able to kick out there.  Dread had to release the hold, or Mayhem would have pinned him!

Yale-  Mayhem gets back to his feet, but Dread is once again waiting for him!  Mayhem turns around, and Dread scoops him up!  It looks like he’s going for a fallaway slam!  But Mayhem is fighting it, and Dread is stumbling backwards!

Bryan-  Dread falls into the ropes, and both men spill to the outside!  They’re down right here in front of us!

Rollins-  Mayhem’s not fighting this one the right way at all.

Bryan-  Both men struggle to their feet, and Mayhem snaps off a right hand!  Dread returns it!  They’re slugging it out, and Mayhem is getting the better of Dread!  Mayhem sends Dread into our announce table!

Yale-  Dread lands hard, and Mayhem approaches!

(The crowd begins to buzz as Rollins throws off his headset, and stands to glare at Mayhem.  Mayhem stops heading for Dread, and once again faces the Renegade.)

Bryan-  Dread slowly gets to his feet, and Mayhem isn’t paying him any mind!  Rollins is shouting some rather obscene remarks at Mayhem, while Mayhem just stares!  Wait, Dread is up behind Mayhem!

Yale-  Dread charges Mayhem from behind, and hits him with a clothesline!  Mayhem stumbles forwards, and falls right into the Renegade!  Rollins and Mayhem both fall to the ground, as Dread looks on!

Bryan-  Dread knocked Mayhem right into Rollins, and is now retreating to the ring!  Mayhem and Rollins both get up, and Rollins shoves Mayhem!  Mayhem shoves back, and Rollins is fuming!

Yale-  Oh, no!  Rollins fires off a right hand!  And Mayhem returns it!  Rollins and Mayhem are brawling!  Dread is watching from the ring, and the referee is making the count on Mayhem!

Bryan-  Rollins is taking over on Mayhem, and he shoves him right into the barricade!  But Mayhem springs back up with a forearm shot!  Rollins and Mayhem continue to fight, as Dread listens to the referee’s count!

Yale-  Nine. . . Ten. . . I think Mayhem’s been counted out!

(The bell rings.  The crowd doesn’t seem to care, as they watch Rollins and Mayhem brawl.)

Andrews-  Here is your winner, via countout. . . Jason Dread!

(The referee raises Dread’s arm, as Mayhem and Rollins brawl up the ramp.)

Bryan-  Jason Dread has won this match!  But Mayhem doesn’t know it yet!  Rollins has Mayhem in a headlock, but Mayhem drags him down to the steel ramp, and begins throwing rights!  Rollins fights back, and here come the officials!

Yale-  Referees and security are here to break up this fight!  The crowd doesn’t seem to like it, but Mayhem and Rollins are being pulled apart!  Mayhem gets dragged away by the referees, as Rollins is restrained by security!

Bryan-  Mayhem and Rollins have a real problem with each other, and I think this situation was bound to explode!  Dread is bypassing the chaos, and walking to the back with his victory.

Yale-  Well, we can only assume Rollins and Mayhem will meet again sometime down the road!  What a contest it would be to see the Renegade and Mayhem go head to head!

(The camera fades out as Mayhem and Rollins are lead to the back, and Meltdown heads to a commercial break.)

(The show returns, and the scene is backstage.  We are in Commissioner Octavian’s dressing room, and Octavian is busy lacing his boots for his match.  Kevin Jacobs enters, and nervously approaches the Commissioner.)

Jacobs-  Mr.-

Octavian-  I have no time for your questions, Pudgeball.  I must destroy that young Luke Hanson here in a moment, so let me get to the point.  Hanson, it is unfortunate that we must meet here tonight.  I really don’t have a problem with you.  But I need to take out my frustrations on someone, so it may as well be you.  Now, as for that little scene outside a few moments ago, it seems that Rich Rollins and Tristain Mayhem aren’t getting along.  Well, boys, quit wasting our air time by fighting outside the ring, and settle it inside.  At FallOut, Rich Rollins and Tristain Mayhem will meet for the United States title.  Now, if you’ll excuse me, Pudgeball, I have a match to prepare for.

(Jacobs quickly takes the hint and leaves.  The camera returns to ringside, where the fans jump to their feet to cheer.  The ring crew is at the ring, furiously working to set up the cage for the next match.)

Bryan-  The Renegade versus Mayhem at FallOut?!  What a match that will be!  I can’t wait to see that one!

Yale-  That will be quite a match, but you’ve got to wonder about Octavian.  I mean, there’s something not quite right about him these days.  Ever since Heatwave, when he ended the Jhub’s active career, he’s been a little darker, a little colder.  I feel sorry for anyone who crosses the Commissioner!

Bryan-  Well, fans, this next matchup has quite some history behind it.  Steven Caldera defeated Big Daddy Dero twice in the ACWF, and Dero finally got some measure of revenge at Heatwave by defeating Caldera in that brutal street fight.

Yale-  But tonight it really counts!  Dero and Caldera met in a cage their first time, and Caldera was victorious.  But if Dero can win here tonight, he’ll get a world title shot sometime in the future!

(The ring crew finishes with the cage, as Natural One hits.  The crowd leaps to their feet, booing Dero with all their might.  Dero walks to the ring, flipping off the fans as he walks.)

Andrews-  The following contest is a cage match!  Winners will be decided when the first man can exit the cage and both feet hit the floor.  Introducing first, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, he weighs in at 313 pounds. . . Big Daddy Dero!

Bryan-  Well, Dero looks like he’s walking with a purpose!  He steps through the cage doors, and you have to believe that his mind is flashing back to his first meeting with Caldera in that cage!

(Dero inspects the door and the steel mesh walls as Natural One fades out.  Master of Puppets hits next, and the crowd jumps to their feet in cheers.  President Caldera heads to the ring, wearing his old ring attire.)

Andrews-  And his opponent, from Columbus, Ohio, he weighs in at 256 pounds. . . President Steven Caldera!

Bryan-  Caldera is getting a great reaction here, which is a bit surprising considering his history!

Yale-  Well, I’d be afraid of Dero if I was Caldera.  After all, Caldera’s been out of regular competition for months!  Dero’s still got it, JB, and Dero wants that world title shot!

(Caldera gets to the cage, and Dero backs away from the door to let him in.  Caldera slowly steps through the ropes and into the cage.  The referee closes the door behind him, as he stares down Dero.)

Bryan-  Well, they’re inside the cage now, and this is such a dangerous environment!  Someone is going to get hurt here, in what has been the most bitter of feuds.

Yale-  There’s the bell, and we’re underway!  Dero and Caldera meet in the center of the ring, and Dero immediately floors Caldera with an unexpected forearm!  Caldera gets back to his feet, but Dero knocks him down again!

Bryan-  Caldera scrambles away from Dero, and Dero follows him into the corner!  Dero approaches, but Caldera buries a boot deep into Dero’s gut!  Caldera fires off a right hand, and another!  Dero is reeling!

Yale-  Caldera now hits the ropes, and bounces back with a clothesline!  But Dero doesn’t go off his feet!  Caldera hits the ropes again, and connects with another clothesline!  But Dero is still on his feet!

Bryan-  Caldera hits the ropes a third time, and charges with another clothesline!  But Dero derails him with a big boot to the face!  Caldera goes down, and Dero takes a breather!

Yale-  Dero lifts Caldera back to his feet now, and takes him by the hair!  Dero runs Caldera to the ropes, and sends Caldera face first into the steel cage!  Caldera staggers backwards, as Dero mocks him!

Bryan-  Dero is here to hurt Caldera, to make a point!  Dero charges in now, and knocks Caldera down with a shoulder block!  Dero now lifts Caldera back to his feet, and sends him into the ropes again!  Caldera bounces back, and Dero kicks him in the gut!

Yale-  Wait a minute, he’s got him set up for the DeroBomb!  This things could be over already!  Dero lifts Caldera up!  This is it!  Wait, Caldera pushes himself over Dero’s head, and mounts the turnbuckle on the other side!

Bryan-  Caldera uses the cage for support, as Dero turns around!  Caldera leaps from the corner, and hits Dero with a cross body block!  Dero collapses, as Caldera rolls up to his feet!

(The crowd cheers this unexpected move.)

Yale-  How did he do that?  Dero slowly gets to his feet, as Caldera approaches him!  Caldera underhooks Dero’s arms, and flips him over with a big suplex!  What a move!  Dero is down!

Bryan-  Caldera heads back to Dero again, and takes him by the leg!  He’s slapped on his signature leg lock!

(The crowd cheers as Dero screams out in pain.)

Yale-  Caldera is trying to damage the knee of Dero, who is trying desperately to break the hold!  Finally, Dero gets his other boot in Caldera’s face, and Caldera releases him!  Dero staggers up to his feet, as Caldera slowly pulls himself up!

Bryan-  Dero drags Caldera to his feet, and takes him by the hair again!  Dero charges Caldera towards the cage!  But Caldera stops and pushes Dero up and into the steel cage wall!  Dero hits the mesh, and bounces back!

Yale-  Caldera is waiting. . . Hold on!  He’s got him hooked for the Caldera Drop!  But no, Dero breaks the hold with a few elbows to the face!  Caldera releases Dero, and Dero hits the ropes!

Bryan-  Dero bounces back, as Caldera turns around!  Dero charges, but Caldera scoops him up, and spins around!  He hits a big tornado back breaker!  What a move!  Dero is down and hurting, as Caldera slowly gets to his feet!

(The crowd cheers as Caldera looks up to the top of the cage, and then begins climbing.)

Yale-  Caldera is climbing the cage!  Caldera is headed to victory!  But Dero is starting to recover!  Caldera is about halfway up, but Dero is getting to his feet!  Dero sees Caldera, and heads for him!

Bryan-  But Caldera sees Dero coming, and boots Dero away!  But Dero stays on him!  Caldera kicks Dero again, and then turns back to his climb!  But Dero is stepping on the bottom rope to reach him!

Yale-  . . . . Oh my God, this isn’t good!  Dero turns around under Caldera, and he’s got him away from the cage!  MY GOD!  DEROBOMB FROM THE SIDE OF THE CAGE!  Dero hits the DeroBomb on Caldera from halfway up the cage!

(The crowd boos Dero and oohs the move as both men are down.)

Bryan-  This is it!  This one’s over!  Dero has destroyed the President here!  Dero is crawling for the door, and Caldera isn’t moving!  Dero opens the door, and begins to head out!

(The crowd begins to cheer again, as someone leaps the rail from the crowd and charges the door.)

Yale-  Wait a minute who’s that?  IT’S MR. DANGER!  Mr. Danger is here!  Dero is halfway out the door, but Danger is right there!  Danger swings the door closed, right onto Dero’s skull!  Dero goes reeling back into the cage!

Bryan-  Caldera is slowly beginning to move!  Dero is out cold!  Danger climbs into the cage, as Caldera begins pulling himself up the side!  Caldera is climbing, as Dero gets pummeled by Danger!

Yale-  We haven’t seen Mr. Danger since Heatwave, when Dero turned his back on him!  Dero is being stomped on by Danger, as Caldera gets to the top of the cage!  Caldera is headed down the other side, and the fans are loving this!

Bryan-  Danger is now on all fours and is choking Dero!  Danger is literally assaulting Dero!  Caldera is almost down to the outside. . . YES!  Caldera drops to the floor, and this match is over!

(The bell rings as the fans go wild.  Mr. Danger finally breaks off his attack and runs back out the way he came.  Caldera’s arm is raised, but he seems to be hurting badly.  Master of Puppets plays again, as the fans cheers along.)

Andrews-  Here is your winner, Steven Caldera!

Bryan-  Caldera has defeated Dero in another brutal bout, but give the assist to Mr. Danger!  Danger came out to exact his revenge on Dero, and he has cost Dero a shot at the World Title!

Yale-  Caldera is pulling himself to the back, while Danger has escaped!  Dero is slowly getting to his feet, and man does he look angry!  We’ll be right back with Octavian versus Luke Hanson, coming up NEXT!

(The show fades to commercial as Dero glares out at the crowd, looking desperately for Danger.)

(We return to the show, and we head backstage to see Barry Goldman standing with Mr. Danger.  The crowd cheers as they see Danger, who seems out of breath.)

Goldman-  Mr. Danger, you just assaulted your former friend Big Daddy Dero, and cost him a shot at the world title. . .

Danger-  You know what, Dero had it coming to him.  He owes me for getting him that GCW contract, otherwise he’d be stuck flipping burgers for a living.  But he repaid me by knocking me on my ass at Heatwave, and I didn’t appreciate it one bit.  The big bastard thinks he can get away with that?  Well I don’t think so.  Mr. Danger is back in action, baby, and Dero is first on my list.  You know-

(Suddenly, Dero explodes from out of nowhere.  Dero hits Danger from the side, and they begin to fight.  Luckily, the officials were chasing Dero the whole way, and they begin to break up the fight.  Dero begins shouting.)

Dero-  You son of a bi***!  You want me?  Then you come at me like a man!

Danger-  You’re damn right I want a piece of you!

Dero-  You and me, baby!  You and me!  Bring it to the ring!  Just bring it to the ring!  You and me at FallOut!

Danger-  You got it you son of a bi***!

(The officials pull Dero and Danger apart, as we return to ringside.)

Bryan-  Dero and Danger at FallOut!  I never thought I’d see that one!

Yale-  What’s gotten into everybody?  Octavian, Dero, and now Danger!  They’re all crazy!

(Fuel hits, and the crowd explodes with cheers.  Luke Hanson emerges from the back, and heads to the ring.  He drags his tag title behind him as he walks.)

Andrews-  The following contest is set for one fall.  Introducing first, from Atlanta, Georgia, he weighs in at 347 pounds. . . ‘The Fueler’ Luke Hanson!

Bryan-  Well, Hanson has a big opportunity here to get himself back into the spotlight!  Hanson has been having trouble as of late, but a win over the commissioner could rocket him back to the top!

(Hanson steps easily over the top rope, and throws his arms into the air.  The crowd cheers as Fuel fades out.  Might of Rome hits next, and a monstrous mixed reaction ensues.  As soon as Octavian emerges, the boos overcome the cheers, and the Commissioner heads for the ring.)

Andrews-  And his opponent, from Rome, Italy, he weighs in at 280 pounds. . . The Commissioner of GCW, Octavian!

Yale-  Wow!  Listen to the boos for the commissioner!  I guess the fans have noticed his mean streak, and they don’t like it!

Bryan-  Well, the commissioner certainly hasn’t been adhering himself to the fans as of late.  It should be interesting, however, to see how Hanson fares here against the veteran Octavian.

(Octavian steps through the ropes, glaring at Hanson.  Hanson does not appear to be intimidated, as Octavian walks right up to Hanson.  Hanson throws a punch, and the bell rings.)

Bryan-  And here we go!  Hanson right off the bat here, pounding Octavian with some hard right hands!  He’s already got the commissioner reeling!  Hanson pummels Octavian back into the corner!

Yale-  Hanson begins booting Octavian relentlessly in the gut, and Octavian is in trouble in the early goings!  No, Octavian thrusts out with a big kick to Hanson’s knee, and the Fueler goes down!

Bryan-  Hanson is down to a knee, and Octavian snaps off a right hand!  He lifts Hanson to his feet, and takes him by the leg!  Octavian brings Hanson over with a fierce leg drag!

Yale-  Octavian now drops an elbow over Hanson’s knee!  Hanson screams out in pain, as Octavian drags him to the turnbuckle!  Octavian climbs out to the floor, and now pulls Hanson around the post!

Bryan-  This isn’t good!  Octavian takes Hanson by the leg, and swings it right into the steel post!  Hanson’s knee is in real trouble here!  Octavian now takes Hanson by the leg. . . What the hell is he doing?

Yale-  Octavian folds Hanson’s knee over the post. . . DEAR LORD!  He’s got a figure four on Hanson over the steel post!  Hanson is screaming in pain!  Octavian could break his knee here!

Bryan-  Hanson’s knee is being destroyed here!  Octavian is being counted out, though!  And I don’t think he realizes it!  The referee is pleading with him to let go, but Octavian is holding Hanson in place!

Yale-  Hold on, there’s the bell!  Is this thing over already?  Octavian is still holding on!  I think this match is going to Hanson, but Octavian still has that incredible figure four on the Fueler!

Bryan-  What has possessed the Commissioner?!  He’s trying to destroy Hanson’s knee!  The referee is trying to pry Octavian off, but he’s still hanging there with that figure four over the post!

Yale-  I think the referee is calling for help, and here come the officials!  Octavian sees them coming, and finally releases Hanson!  The crowd is really booing the commissioner here, as the officials tend to Hanson!

Bryan-  Octavian isn’t leaving yet!  He’s headed over here to our table. . . And he’s got a steel chair!  Octavian has snapped!  Hanson is slowly pulling himself back into the middle of the ring, but Octavian is in to continue the beating!

Yale-  Octavian kicks Hanson in the face, and brings the chair down over his knee!  And another shot!  And another!  Octavian is going crazy!  He has absolutely snapped!

Bryan-  Hanson is in real trouble here!  A referee heads to Octavian to try to stop him, but Octavian just shoves him out of the way!  Octavian is still pummeling Hanson’s knee with that chair!

Yale-  Octavian FINALLY stops the assault, and looks out to the crowd!  They are booing the hell out of him, but he doesn’t care!  This is terrible, JB!  Hanson has been destroyed!

(Suddenly, the fans erupt in cheers.  The Jhub makes him way into the ring, limping a bit from his recent knee surgery.  He does not go after Octavian, but simply joins the officials in helping Hanson.)

Bryan-  The Jhub is here!  The Jhub is in the ring, trying to help Hanson!  Octavian hasn’t noticed him. . . or has he?  Octavian has spotted the Jhub now, and he seems a bit angry at the Jhub’s presence!

Yale-  Oh, come on, Commissioner!  Octavian heads to the Jhub, and jerks him up to his feet!  The Jhub and Octavian are face to face!  But I don’t think the Jhub wants any of Octavian while his knee is still recovering!

Bryan-  Octavian ended the Jhub’s active career at Heatwave, but the Jhub isn’t gone yet!  He just came out here to check on Hanson, damn it!  Leave him alone!

Yale-  Octavian is arguing with the Jhub, who is just yelling back!  The officials have helped Hanson up, and are leading him out of the ring!  The Jhub finally blows off Octavian, and turns to help Hanson out!

Bryan-  Wait a minute, DON’T DO IT!  Damn it!  Octavian hits the Jhub from behind with a chair shot!  The Jhub is down!  Octavian drops the chair, and he’s attacked an injured man from behind!  That takes a lot of guts!

Yale-  Octavian drags the Jhub to the center of the ring, and turns him over!  Dear God, no!  Octavian puts the Roman Rapper on the Jhub!  He’s got the Roman Rapper on the Jhub!  The same move that ended the Jhub’s career!

(The boos are horrendous as Octavian rears back on the Jhub, who is screaming at the top of his lungs.)

Bryan-  The Jhub’s knee can’t take this!  Someone get Octavian off of him!  The officials scramble back to try to pry him off, and they finally get the commissioner to let go!  But the damage has been done!

(The crowd continues to boo as Octavian glares out at them.  Might of Rome hits again, as the officials try to help both Hanson and the Jhub up.  Octavian takes a look at the carnage he has produced, and then heads for the back.)

Bryan-  What the hell has gotten into the Commissioner?  He has become a man possessed!  Ever since Heatwave, he hasn’t been the same. . . And ever since that match with John Reed, he’s been obsessed with winning the World Title back!

Yale-  Well, Reed had better look out if Octavian is gunning for him!  But I don’t know why Octavian would assault the Jhub like that!  The Jhub’s knee has been destroyed a second time, and Hanson’s knee has taken a big beating, too!

Bryan-  Well, fans, if we take a look at the replay-

(A double feature begins, half watching the Jhub and Hanson being helped to the back, the other showing Octavian’s ring post figure four.)

Bryan-  -You can see the damage that was done here by our Commissioner.  I honestly can’t believe Octavian would do something like this!

Yale-  Well, we’re just going to have to leave this carnage behind us, because John Reed defends his title against Dan Rivero, and that’s coming up NEXT!

(The show fades to commercial as Octavian celebrates one last time on the stage.)

(The show returns to Meltdown and to ringside.)

Bryan-  Well, fans, we’ve witnessed some terrible carnage here tonight, and we can only hope that things settle down when Reed defends his world title against Dan Rivero here momentarily.

(Bawitiba hits, and the crowd begins to boo.  Rivero walks out with his TV title in hand, strutting to the ring, confident that he will leave with the world title belt as well.)

Andrews-  The following contest, set for one fall, is for the GCW World Heavyweight Championship!  Introducing first, from Brooklyn, New York, he weighs in at 279 pounds. . . Dan ‘The Man’ Rivero!

Bryan-  Dan Rivero has the opportunity of a lifetime here!  Reed is proving to be a fighting champion, but that may be a mistake!  If you remember, fans, Reed’s ankle was injured in a racing accident over the weekend, and he’s not 100 percent here tonight!

Yale-  Well, that was Reed’s own fault!  He shouldn’t have risked an injury like that when he knew he would be defending the title this week!  Rivero has a huge opportunity, as I see it, and I think he’s going to leave here with the title!

(Rivero, now in the ring, raises his TV title belt in the air for all to see.  The crowd boos him, as he takes to the mat.  Bawitiba fades out, and Break Stuff hits.  The crowd explodes with cheers, as John Reed emerges with Rachel.  Rachel carries Reed’s belt over her shoulder.  Reed walks to the ring with a slight limp on his left ankle, but seems to be confident anyway.)

Andrews-  And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, he weighs in at 247 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Rachel Reed, he is the GCW World Heavyweight Champion. . . John Reed!

Bryan-  Well, Reed may be injured, but the fans are still behind him completely!  Reed steps through the ropes, as Rachel hands the referee the title belt!  There’s the bell, and we’re underway!

Yale-  And Rivero isn’t wasting any time!  Rivero comes right in with right hands, pummeling the champion!  Rivero sends Reed across the ring and into the ropes!  Reed comes back with a devastating clothesline to Rivero!

Bryan-  The Man is down, as the World Champion lifts him back to his feet!  Reed sends Rivero into the ropes, and the Man bounces back!  Reed takes Rivero WAY over with a big back body drop!

Yale-  The fans are behind Reed, as he lifts Rivero back to his feet again!  Reed hammers Rivero with a few sharp right hands, and sends Rivero off into the ropes again!  Rivero bounces back, and catches a dropkick from the champion!

Bryan- Beautifully executed by Reed!  Rivero is down, as Reed covers Rivero!  ONE!  No, kickout at one!  Rivero slowly gets back to his feet, but Reed is waiting for him!  Reed charges, but Rivero counters with a drop toe hold!

Yale-  Reed goes down, and Rivero immediately locks on a side headlock!  Reed manages to push himself back to a vertical base, but Rivero has him locked on!  Reed tries to shove Rivero off, but Rivero has it on tight!

Bryan-  Rivero now gets a head of steam, still with that headlock on Reed!  Rivero jumps up onto the turnbuckle, and swings around!  Tornado bulldog from the TV champ!  What a move!

Yale-  Beautiful!  Reed is down, as Rivero turns him over for a cover!  ONE!  TWO!  TH-  Kickout!  Wow, Rivero was just one second away from becoming champion of the world!

Bryan-  Rivero seems to be frustrated with the count, but he can’t lose focus!  Rivero lifts Reed to his feet, and pushes him back into the corner!  Rivero now mounts the ropes, and begins pummeling the champion!

Yale-  Reed is in trouble here, as Rivero hammers away!  Reed finally gets a hand up, and simply shoves Rivero back down to the mat!  But Rivero is right back up, and pummeling Reed again!

Bryan-  Wait, this time Reed simply steps out of the corner, carrying Rivero with him!  Reed drops back, sending The Man face first into the turnbuckle!  What a move!  Reed has bought himself some time, as Rivero tries to rebound from that high-impact move!

Yale-  Reed slowly gets to his feet, as does Rivero.  Rivero turns around, and catches a kick to the gut from Reed!  Wait, Reed scoops Rivero up!  He’s going for the cradle tombstone!

Bryan-  Reed is going for his signature move, but Rivero slides down behind him!  Reed turns around, and Rivero nails him with a DDT!  Great move!  Rivero has a big opening here, and he’s headed out to the turnbuckle!

Yale-  This could be it!  Rivero is up to the top, and he’s setting Reed up for the Rivero Elbow!  Rivero takes flight!  But Reed moves out of the way!  Rivero goes crashing to the mat!

Bryan-  Rivero is hurting, as Reed pulls himself up by the ropes!  Rivero is slowly getting to his feet, as Reed rises!  He heads for Rivero. . . but The Man kicks Reed right in the ankle!  Down goes Reed!

Yale-  It was only a matter of time before Rivero focused in on that injured ankle!  Rivero now jumps, and comes down with a stomp on Reed’s ankle!  Reed may not be able to take much of this!

Bryan-  Rivero drags Reed to the side, and places his ankle over the bottom rope!  Rivero gets a bounce off the ropes, and comes down with his posterior right over Reed’s ankle!

Yale-  Rivero is playing a very smart game here!  He lifts Reed to his feet, and Reed is obviously favoring the ankle!  Rivero takes him by the arm now, and sends him into the ropes!  But Reed reverses!

Bryan-  Reed sends Rivero off into the ropes, and Rivero hits hard!  Reed takes a breath, and begins to charge!  Reed takes flight with a big splash!  BUT RIVERO PULLS THE REFEREE IN THE WAY!

Yale-  Rivero pulled the referee in the way, and Reed takes the official down!  Disqualify Reed, ref!

Bryan-  Oh, come on!  Rivero pulled the referee in the way, and the official is down!  Now Rivero comes back out of the corner with a clothesline. . . But Reed scoops him up!  Here it comes!  CRADLE TOMBSTONE!

Yale-  There it is!  This one’s over!  Reed has the cover, but there’s no referee!  Reed is looking in vain for the referee, but he’s down and out!

(Suddenly, the crowd begins to boo.  Octavian runs out again from the back, and slides into the ring.)

Bryan-  Wait a damn minute, what’s he doing here!?  Octavian is back out here!  And he’s got Reed!  Octavian pulls Reed off of Rivero, and applies the Roman Rapper to the champion!  Damn it!

Yale-  Octavian is trying to injure Reed now, too!  This guy is insane!  Rivero is still out cold from that move from Reed, but Reed is in trouble!

Bryan-  Rivero is slowly beginning to rise, as Octavian finally releases the hold!  Octavian lifts Reed up, and shoves him into the corner!  This is not good!  Wait, Reed fires a right hand!  Reed is fighting back!

Yale-  Reed and Octavian are in a brawl here, as Rivero steps out of the ring!  He’s heading for the timekeeper, and he's got a steel chair!  Damn it!  Rivero has a chair!

Bryan-  Rivero slides back into the ring, and heads for Reed!  But wait a minute, who’s this?!  That’s Jason Dread!  Jason Dread has come in from the back, and is sneaking up behind Rivero!

Yale-  Rivero rears back with that chair, but Dread grabs it from behind!  Rivero turns around, and Dread nails him in the face with the chair!

(The crowd cheers as Rivero goes down and Reed and Octavian continue to brawl.)

Yale-  Dread has Rivero down. . . And he’s locked on the No Moment!  His signature submission hold is locked on the TV champ!  The referee is still down, as Rivero begins to tap out!

Bryan-  Dread has the No Moment locked on, and Octavian is taking over on Reed!  But, hold on a second, now what?!

(The fans grow quiet as another man runs in from the crowd.  He slides into the ring, and picks up the chair.)

Bryan-  Who is that?!  Is that. . . Rich Sherwin!?!?!  Rich Sherwin is here in GCW!  He’s got that steel chair. . . And he cracks Dread over the skull with it!  Dread releases the No Moment and falls to the mat, as Sherwin begins to pummel him!

(The crowd boos as Sherwin assaults Jason Dread.  Rivero is still down from the No Moment and the Cradle Tombstone.  Octavian has takes Reed out to the floor, where they continue to brawl.)

Yale-  Reed and Octavian are on the outside, while Rivero is still down!  Dread is being assaulted by Rich Sherwin!  And the referee is still out!  Reed is taking a beating from Octavian, who sends him towards the steel steps!

Bryan-  But Reed reverses!  Reed sends Octavian into the steps, and the Commissioner hits head first!  Octavian is down, as Reed slowly crawls back into the ring!

Yale-  Reed is back into the ring, and the referee is starting to come around!  Sherwin has done his damage to Dread, and has taken back off through the crowd!  The referee never saw him!  Dread is slowly pulling himself to his feet, as Rivero groggily gets to his feet!

Bryan-  Rivero is up, and Dread is up behind him!  Reed is trying to pull himself to his feet, as Octavian lies on the floor!  The referee is slowly trying to recover, as Rivero heads towards Reed!

Yale-  Wait, Dread comes up behind Rivero!  Dread locks on a Cobra clutch, and charges forward!  Tres Flores!  What a move!  He calls that Tres Flores!  A cobra clutch bulldog on the TV champ!

Bryan-  Rivero is down, as Dread bails out of the ring!  Reed crawls to Rivero, as the referee begins to come around!  Reed covers Rivero, and the referee drops to count!  ONE!  TWO!  THREE!!!  That’s it!

(The crowd erupts in cheers, as Break Stuff hits again.  Reed is handed his title belt, and he clutches his ankle.  Rachel comes in to console him, as Dread makes a run for it to the back.)

Andrews-  Here is your winner, and STILL GCW World Heavyweight Champion. . . John Reed!

Bryan-  Reed has defeated Dan Rivero in what could have been one of the most chaotic title matches I’ve ever seen!  Octavian assaulted Reed, Jason Dread came after Rivero, and Rich Sherwin appeared to help the TV champ!

Yale-  Reed is still the champion, but Rivero gave it his all!  I don’t think this will be the last title shot for Rivero!  Octavian has recovered on the outside, and is simply glaring at Reed!

Bryan-  Octavian is furious with Reed, but he’s failed in taking out the world champion here tonight!  Reed is still the champion, but for how long?

Yale-  Rivero is still out cold, as he took quite a beating from Jason Dread tonight!  Rivero assaulted Dread last week, and cost him the Hard*core title!  But Dread got his revenge tonight!

Bryan-  And Rich Sherwin is here in GCW!  I suppose he’s here to help Rivero!  Fans, we’re out of time from Los Angeles!  Join us next week for Meltdown!  For David Yale, I’m James Bryan!  Goodnight, everybody!

(The show fades to a close as Reed and Octavian lock eyes and stare each other down from across the arena.)
