(The show fades in to a packed house. The lights go down as the GCW logo flashes on the screen. Suddenly, loud fireworks light up the arena, and Meltdown is kicked off. The crowd goes nuts as the camera fans over the arena, resting on the announce table.)
Bryan- Welcome, everyone, to another edition of Meltdown! We are coming to you live in front of a sold out crowd for a huge event on Meltdown! Hello, I’m James Bryan alongside David Yale, and folks, we’re ready to go!
Yale- This is great! President Caldera has promised us announcement concerning both the United States title, and the next Pay-Per-View event, Shockwave!
Bryan- Well, for now, let’s head to ringside for our big debut battle royal!
(All About the Flame hits, and the Flame heads out to the ring.)
Andrews- The following contest is a battle royal! Men are eliminated when they are thrown over the top rope, and both feet hit the floor. Introducing first, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 279 pounds. . . The Flame!
(The Flame enters the ring as Countryboy Can Survive hits. Mike Byrd dances to the ring, slapping hands with the fans on his way.)
Andrews- From Durham, North Carolina, weighing in at 230 pounds. . . ‘The Legend’ Mike Byrd!
(Break Stuff hits, and the crowd boos. Red Hot heads for the ring.)
Andrews- From Long Island, New York, weighing in at 230 pounds. . . Red Hot!
(The Game hits, and the crowd boos again. Mikado emerges, and slowly stalks the ring.)
Andrews- From parts unknown, weighing in at 232 pounds. . . Mikado!
(Freak on a Leash hits, and Shane Lane emerges and heads to the ring.)
Andrews- From Beverly Hills, California, weighing in at 210 pounds. . . Shane Lane!
(Fearless plays, and Freak heads for the ring.)
Andrews- From Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 300 pounds. . . Freak!
(Finally, Demons Surround Me hits, and the crowd boos. Capo emerges, and heads for the ring.)
Andrews- And from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 257 pounds. . . Capo!
Bryan- Well, all seven competitors are in the ring. Remember, you are only eliminated if you are thrown over the top and both feet touch the floor!
Yale- There’s the bell, and this thing is underway! Capo and Shane Lane have begun to fight, as have Freak and The Legend! The Flame and Red Hot are going at it, and Mikado is observing from a neutral corner!
Bryan- Lane has control of Capo, and is trying to toss him out! But Mikado charges over and hits Lane low with a leg sweep, and both men fall back into the ring!
Yale- The Flame has control of Red Hot, and he’s got him scooped up! He’s trying to get him over the top, but Red Hot has the top rope hooked, and he’s not going anywhere! The Flame gives up, and slams Red Hot to the mat.
Bryan- Freak and the Legend are still throwing punches, and Freak seems to be taking the upper hand! Wait, Mikado comes up from behind Freak, and dropkicks him in the spine! Freak tumbles over the top rope, but lands safely on the apron!
Yale- The Legend now goes to work on Mikado! The Legend continues punching away, as Shane Lane sends Capo into the ropes! Capo bounces back, and Lane sends him high overhead, and over the top rope with a back body drop! But Capo manages to land on the apron!
Bryan- Red Hot has taken over on the Flame with a series of right hands, and he has the Flame against the top rope! He back up and charges! But the Flame ducks, and tosses Red Hot over the top to the floor! Red Hot is gone!
Yale- One down, six left in the ring! Mike Byrd is pummeling Mikado, until Mikado blocks a shot, and hits Byrd right in the chest with the Final Touch! Byrd goes down to the ancient Tae Kwon Doe move!
Bryan- Wow! Freak is back in behind Mikado, and he takes him down with a clothesline form behind! Meanwhile, Shane Lane is being pummeled by Capo! Wait, the Flame comes in behind Capo, lifts him up, and dumps him over the top rope!
Yale- Capo lands on the floor, and we’re down to five men left in the ring! One will win it all! The Flame and Lane are going at it, with Lane pummeling Flame with knife-edge chops in the corner!
Bryan- Mikado is getting stomped by Freak, as Mike Byrd tries to recover! He gets to his feet, as the Flame takes Lane down with a clothesline! Byrd sees and opening, and heads to the second rope!
Yale- He gets up, and takes off! There’s the Honky-Tonk Smash, an elbow from the second rope! Lane is hurting, as the Flame lifts him up, and tries to toss him out!
Bryan- Lane hooks the top rope, but now Byrd is there to help! With the added pressure, Lane lets go, and tumbles to the floor! Four men left!
Yale- But wait, Lane is furious! He’s back into the ring, where the Flame and Mike Byrd are fighting! And Mikado and Freak are going at it, as well! Lane moves in behind Mikado, and hooks him in an abdominal stretch!
Bryan- Lane lifts him up, spins, and drops him on his head! WOW! Superstar Slam! Lane has made his point, as he heads for the back!
Yale- Lane ha destroyed Mikado, and Freak is trying to lift him up! But Mikado, with what he has left, has the bottom rope hooked with his feet! He’s not going anywhere!
Bryan- Now Byrd is in control of the Flame, and he charges in! He clotheslines Flame against the ropes, and they both tumble over! But the Flame lands on the apron as Byrd tumbles to the ground! Three men left!
Yale- The Flame, Freak, and Mikado! The Flame pulls himself back into the ring, and goes after Freak! Freak and the Flame begins battling it out, as Mikado slides underneath them and heads for the turnbuckle!
Bryan- Mikado is still suffering the effects of the Superstar Slam, but he’s climbing the turnbuckle! Freak and the Flame are trying to get each other over the top, and they’re all tied up!
Yale- Wait, Mikado takes off! There’s a missile dropkick to Freak’s back! Freak falls, and brings the Flame with him! They both tumble to the floor! IT’S OVER!
(The crowd boos as the Game plays. Mikado’s arm is raised, as he idly stare at the crowd.)
Andrews- Here is your winner, Mikado!
Bryan- What an impact Mikado has made here in his singles debut! By winning this battle royal, he has paved the way to bigger things in GCW!
Yale- All seven of these guys gave it their all, though, JB! Don’t count any of them out in GCW!
Bryan- Well, still up we have two titles to be decided, as well as a number one contender’s match! For now, let’s head to ringside once again!
(Walking Wounded hits, and the crowd boos. Chris Jordan emerges, and he is pulling Emma along with him. He struggles to break free, but he has a death grip on her hair.)
Bryan- What in the hell? Jordan already has Emma! Fans, we really cant condone this match. . .
Yale- It was Emma’s idea, anyway! Jordan tosses Emma into the ring, and he goes in after her! She gets up, and Jordan grabs her by the hair again! He shoves her to the mat, and someone tosses him a mike!
Jordan- All right, you little ~no audio~, I’ve had enough of you. I should be out there winning titles, but instead I’m here in the ring with you, a pathetic woman!
(The crowd boos.)
Jordan- So what I’m going to do is this. . . I’m going to turn my back, and give you five seconds to get out of my ring. This is your last chance!
(Jordan turns his back, as Emma slowly gets to her feet.)
Bryan- Well, hopefully, Emma will just leave, and this will all be over with- Wait, she’s moving in on Jordan! She drops to a knee. . . LOW BLOW! Oh, dear!
Yale- That’s not fair! She just hit Jordan from behind with a low blow! And now she’s high-tailing it out of there! That wasn’t right!
Bryan- ‘Atta girl!
(Emma rushes to the back as the crowd cheers. Jordan slowly recovers, as heads to the back, embarrassed.)
Bryan- Well, Chris Jordan has been publicly embarrassed here by Emma! Maybe he’ll think twice now before he-
(Physical hits, and the crowd boos like hell. President Caldera emerges and walks to the back, closely trailed by Octavian, who has his world title around his waist.)
Andrews- Please welcome the GCW World Heavyweight Champion, Octavian, and President Caldera!
(The crowd boos as Caldera is handed a mike, and Octavian flaunts his belt at the crowd.)
Caldera- Tonight, I promised two announcements. The first is about the next Pay-Per-View, Shockwave. The second, the US title. I suppose it’s no secret that Thirteen foolishly quit the company earlier this week.
(This gets a mixed reaction from the crowd.)
Caldera- So, once again, we have no United States champion. Therefore, starting next week, we will have a mini-tournament to crown a new champion. Two matches will take place, and the winners will meet at Shockwave for the title. This brings us to Shockwave. On Sunday, May 19, we will see GCW’s second Pay-Per-View ever. And, to pay tribute to my good friend Octavian. . .
(The crowd boos as Octavian waves sarcastically.)
Caldera-. . . The event will be held in beautiful Rome, Italy, in front of Octavian’s home crowd!
(The crowd boos even louder.)
Yale- Hey, I love Rome! That’ll be great!
Caldera- So, now that business is out of the way, I’d like to get a few things off my chest. First of all-
(Caldera is suddenly cut off. Take A Look Around plays, and the crowd quiets in confusion. A man walks from the back, with a large grin on his face, wearing an expensive suit. A few cheer in astonishment as they recognize him, but most have no clue who he is.)
Bryan- Wait a minute, who in the hell is that? Look at Caldera! He looks like he’s seen a ghost!
Yale- Wait a second, I recognize him! That’s. . .
Man- Hello, Steven. Remember me? My, it’s been a long time. And Octavian, I believe you might have some vague memory of me as well. For any of you who might not know who I am, allow me t introduce myself. I am Mr. Danger, your President’s former boss!
(The crowd goes crazy, though many are still confused.)
Bryan- The owner of the ACWF? Isn’t he dead by now?
Danger- I owned a little company called ACWF a while back, and that’s where Steven got his start. Little do most of you realize, your President was once a bottom of the barrel wrestler, too. But along I came, and I turned him into a star. With my help, Steven Caldera became the first and only ACWF world champion.
Yale- I do not believe this! And neither do Caldera or Octavian!
Danger- Then, Caldera took over a pissant little company called CWU.
(The crowd boos at the mention of the name)
Danger- And I went bankrupt. I guess everything after that is rather well known. Caldera amassed a fortune in CWU, and started this company with it. However, Steven, you seem to have forgotten your roots. You forgot where you came from, and you forgot me.
(The crowd boos as Caldera nervously paces in the ring.)
Danger- Something else most people don’t realize is that your President and I quickly became friends, and quickly became business partners. Now, being a shrewd businessman, Caldera entered into a little financial pact.
(This noticeably worries Caldera.)
Danger- And this contract stated that everything I obtained, twenty percent went to Caldera. But that also worked in the other direction.
Bryan- Uh oh!
Danger- Everything Caldera obtained, I owned twenty percent.
(The crowd begins to cheer as Caldera shakes his head in disbelief.)
Danger- Now, I lost most everything when ACWF fell. But Caldera obtained GCW. And that means I own twenty percent of it!
(The crowd goes ballistic as Caldera throws a tantrum in the ring. Octavian simply watches in disbelief.)
Caldera- Damn it, Danger, that contract expires in three days!
Danger- That’s right, it does. I am fully aware of that. In three days, President Caldera once again becomes sole owner of GCW. So, with this knowledge, I took my twenty percent down to Dallas, Texas, to GCW headquarters. There, with my newfound power, I consulted the board of directors. And guess what, Steven? I made myself Commissioner!
(The crowd cheers even louder.)
Bryan- OH NO! This isn’t good for Caldera!
Danger- I may not own any of GCW in a few days, but I’ll be Commissioner for a long, long time.
Caldera- Damn it, you can’t do that!
Danger- Like hell I can’t! Now, as my first act, Octavian, I’m going to do you a favor. I saw how adamant you were about taking on Khan tonight one on one. So, I’ll grant you just that. If anyone comes to the ring tonight during the main event, they will promptly be suspended without pay for sis months!
Yale- This isn’t fair! Somebody stop him!
Danger- And, hey, while we’re at it, there will be no interference tolerated in the number one contenders match, or the Hard*core title match! So boys, enjoy the rest of your night. And folks, sit back, and watch Octavian fight Khan. . .one on one.
(Take a Look Around hits again, and the fans cheer deafeningly. Caldera and Octavian head for the back in disbelief.)
Bryan- Mr. Danger, Caldera’s former employer, has returned! And he’s Commissioner! Finally, some opposition to the President’s absolute power!
Yale- This can’t be possible! I thought President Caldera had all his bases covered!
Bryan- Well, it’s true! Fans, for now, we’re going to have to head back to ringside, but hopefully we’ll get some more answers later!
(Real American hits, and the crowd cheers. Zippy bounds to the ring, with Stone right behind him.)
Andrews- The following contest is a leather strap match! The first man to touch all four turnbuckles in succession will be the winner, and will be awarded one million dollars! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Stone, from Mianus, Connecticut, weighing in at 222 pounds. . . Zippy!
(Zippy climbs into the ring, and the strap in attached to his wrist. Stone waits on the floor. 2001 hits, and the crowd boos. Chameleon heads to the ring with both of his title belts and Jack Pott right behind him.)
Andrews- And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Jack Pott, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 212 pounds, he is co-holder of the GCW Tag Team titles, and is the GCW Cruiserweight Champion. . . Chameleon!
Bryan- No titles on the line here. . .
Yale- Just a lot of orange soda!
Bryan- Chameleon climbs into the ring, and the strap is attached to his wrist, as well! There’s the bell, and we’re underway! Chameleon and Zippy begin with a bit of tug-of-war, and it looks like Chameleon is winning!
Yale- Zippy is slowly falling towards Chameleon, but finally he breaks into a run! He charges in, and clotheslines Chameleon down! Wow! I guess the thought of a lot of orange soda has motivated Zippy!
Bryan- I’d say! Chameleon gets back up, and Zippy fires a right hand! And another! Zippy rears back, and gives him a Zip Slap! Chameleon goes down, and rolls to the floor!
Yale- He’s trying to get away, but the strap is preventing him from getting too far! Zippy pulls Chameleon back to the ring, and he slides in! Zippy moves in, but Chameleon nails him with a low blow!
Bryan- Zippy goes down, and Chameleon gets a handful of the strap! He rears back, and whips Zippy in the back with it! WOW! What a terrible sound!
Yale- Chameleon continues to whip Zippy with the strap, until Zippy crawls out of the way! He gets to the turnbuckle, and pulls himself up! There’s one he’s touched!
Bryan- But he’s a ways away from the other three! Chameleon doesn’t seem to mind, as he climbs onto the turnbuckle behind Zippy! There’s one for Chameleon!
Yale- Chameleon wraps the strap around Zippy’s neck, and rears back! Zippy is pulled off his feet, and Chameleon is hanging him! Oh no! Zippy is being hung by the Cruiserweight champion!
Bryan- Finally, Chameleon lets Zippy go. Zippy tumbles to the mat, and he scrambles for the opposite corner! There’s two for Zippy! Chameleon hops down, as Zippy runs to the next corner and touches it! Three!
Yale- Zippy charges to the final corner, but Chameleon is there to cut him off! He takes Zippy down with a clothesline, and Zippy’s count is reset!
Bryan- Chameleon reaches over and taps the corner! One! He lifts Zippy up and tosses him over his shoulder! But Zippy reaches out and touches the corner behind Chameleon’s back! One for Zippy!
Yale- Chameleon carries Zippy to the next corner, and touches it! Two! But Zippy is touching it behind Chameleon’s back! Two for each!
Bryan- Chameleon heads for the next corner, and tags it! So does Zippy! Three! Chameleon doesn’t even know Zippy is doing this! But he’s heading for the last corner!
Yale- Chameleon is there, but Zippy slides down behind Chameleon, and grabs the strap! Zippy is holding the strap, and Chameleon can’t reach the final corner! The next person to touch that corner will win!
Bryan- Chameleon can’t get to it, so he breaks off and dropkicks Zippy in the face! Both counts are now reset! Chameleon lifts Zippy up, and sends him into the corner! One for Zippy!
Yale- Chameleon charges in behind Zippy, but Zippy dodges him! Chameleon crashes into the turnbuckle! One for him! Zippy gets a handful of strap, and whips Chameleon in the chest!
(The sound cracks through the arena, and the fans shout ‘Whoo!’)
Bryan- What a shot that was! Chameleon is down, as Stone shouts something into the ring! He’s telling Zippy to go up! Zippy is climbing the turnbuckle!
Yale- Oh, no! Zippy takes off. . . WOW! What elevation! ZIP FLIP! What a moonsault by Zippy, and he lands right on Chameleon!
Bryan- Incredible move, but Zippy is just as hurt as Chameleon! Both men are slowly getting to their feet, and both reach out and touch the turnbuckle! One for each!
Yale- Zippy crawls to the next turnbuckle, and tags it! Two for Zippy! Chameleon heads for the opposite corner! Two for Chameleon!
Bryan- They’re both back to their feet, and wanting to head to the next corners! But they’re both using the strap for leverage across the ring to prevent their opponent from moving!
Yale- Finally, Chameleon gets across, and gets to his third turnbuckle! So does Zippy! It’s three to three! They each only have one corner left, and Chameleon is right next to his!
Bryan- He rushes for it, but Zippy holds on! Chameleon is almost there, but Zippy has his grip tight! Wait, from the crowd, someone’s here! It’s Mike Hardy! I don’t believe it!
Yale- Mike Hardy is here, and he has a steel chair! He hops onto the turnbuckle, and cracks Chameleon over the skull! Chameleon goes down, as Hardy retreats to the crowd once again!
Bryan- Hit and run by Mike Hardy! Zippy is left alone! Zippy heads for the final turnbuckle, and taps it! This one is over!
(The crowd goes nuts as Zippy celebrates. Stone hops in and hugs Zippy, as the referee hands Zippy a briefcase.)
Andrews- Here is your winner, Zippy!
Bryan- Zippy has won
a million dollars! You’d better believe
Mike Hardy is going to have to face Chameleon for that sooner or later!
Yale- That just wasn’t fair! Chameleon was almost there!
Bryan- Well, now Zippy can afford a hell of a lot of orange soda to keep him happy! Well, fans, Chameleon is headed to the back, and we’re ready for our Hardcore title match!
(Out With the Old hits, and the crowd goes crazy. Toad heads to the ring looking very determined, and he is carrying a baseball bat.)
Andrews- The following contest is set for one fall, and is for the GCW Hard*core championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Biloxi, Mississippi, weighing in at 310 pounds. . .Toad!
(The crowd continues to cheer until Voodoo hits. The crowd boos intensely as John Reed emerges and heads to the ring. Rachel is conspicuous by her absence.)
Andrews- And his opponent, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is the GCW Hard*core champion. . . John Reed!
Bryan- John Reed and Toad have quite the feud to settle here tonight, and Reed is going to have to go it alone, thanks to our commissioner, Mr. Danger!
Yale- I don’t want to hear that name any more, JB! This guy doesn’t know who he’s dealing with! Right now we’re focusing on what John Reed is about to do to Toad.
Bryan- That’s if he can ever get into the ring! Toad is standing guard with that ball bat, and Reed can’t get in! Finally, the referee backs Toad up, and Reed slides in!
Yale- There’s the bell, as Toad moves in! He gives Reed a shot to the gut with that bat, and Reed is hobbled over! Toad rears back, and brings the bat down over Reed’s spine!
Bryan- Remember what Toad did to Toxic last week! He’s hoping to do the same tonight! Reed is down, and Toad is chocking him with the bat!
Yale- Reed is in real trouble here! Toad finally breaks off, and drops the bat! The referee wisely kicks it out to the floor! Toad lifts Reed up, and sends him into the ropes!
Bryan- Reed bounces back, and Toad powerslams him! Great move by Toad, and a cover! ONE! TWO! Shoulder up by Reed! Toad gets a smile on his face, and he slides to the floor!
Yale- Reed is slowly getting up, as Toad pulls out a trash can! He tosses it into the ring, and goes back for more! Now he’s tosses in a chair, and there’s another! And now he’s got a table!
Bryan- The ring is littered with implements of destruction, as Toad slides in! Reed has recovered, and he drops an elbow to Toad’s skull! Reed reaches down and grabs a chair, as Toad rises!
Yale- Reed rears back, and gives Toad a chair shot! But Toad doesn’t go down! There’s another, but Toad is still up! A third chair shot, and Toad crumbles to the mat.
Bryan- Wow! Toad is busted open, but I don’t think he cares! Reed heads for the table, and begins setting it up! Toad is slowly to his feet, and he’s got a steel chair himself!
Yale- Reed moves in, and Toad whips the chair around! Ouch! Stiff chair shot from Toad, and Reed goes down! Toad places the chair over Reed’s face, and backs up! He jumps, and drops a leg over Reed’s face!
Bryan- What a move! Reed is hurting bad, and now he’s busted open, too! Toad picks up the trash can, and heads for Reed! But Reed comes back up with a low blow, and Toad drops the can!
Yale- Reed fires a right hand, and another! A third sends Toad to a knee, and Reed is back in control! He lifts Toad up, and hooks him! He brings him up. . . and down with a vertical suplex!
Bryan- No small feat there by Reed, who reaches for a steel chair! He places it over Toad’s leg! This isn’t good! Reed heads for the turnbuckle, and climbs to the second rope!
Yale- Reed takes off, and lands with a stomp on the chair! Toad’s leg might be broken in half! Reed pulls the chair off, as Toad slowly tries to get to his feet!
Bryan- Reed sends Toad into the ropes, and readies the chair! Toad bounces back, and gets a boot up! He kicks the chair right back into the waiting Reed’s face! Reed goes down!
Yale- Oh, no! Toad is recovering, and he’s got the trash can again! He pulls the table into the center of the ring, and lifts Reed up! I think the champion is out cold!
Bryan- You might be right! Toad puts the can over Reed’s head and upper body! Reed is inside the trash can, and Toad slides him on top of the table! What is he planning to do here?!
Yale- I don’t know, but it can’t be good! Toad is headed for the top rope! Don’t tell me. . . Toad is up, and he takes off! MY GOD!
Bryan- TOAD JAM ON REED, THROUGH THE TRASH CAN THROUGH THE TABLE! What a move! Reed is destroyed! I do not believe that! Toad’s ribs seem to be hurting, as he covers Reed, still in the now crushed can!
Yale- ONE! TWO!!! THREE!!!!! That’s it!
(The crowd goes crazy as Out With the Old plays. Toad is handed the title belt, as he celebrates, clutching his ribs.)
Andrews- Here is your winner, and the NEW Hard*core champion. . . Toad!
Bryan- Toad has done it! Toad quickly ended this thing with a Toad Jam splash onto the trash can covered Reed, through a table! Great innovation by a great Hard*core champion!
Yale- Oh, please, JB! Reed was cheated!
Bryan- How do you figure that?
Yale- Well. . .
Bryan- Right.
(The screen switches to backstage and a close-up of a steel door. The letters read ‘ZIP Room.’ The camera zooms out, and we see Zippy and Stone heading for the room. They are laughing the whole way, until they open the door. The camera zooms in to spot Gidget laying face down in the room, her face badly bruised.)
Stone- What the-
Zippy- What happened?!
(Emma appears off to the side, looking worried. She is on the phone, calling for help.)
Emma- I don’t know what happened! I came back here after my match, and I found her like this! We never should have left her alone!
(Zippy and Stone rush into the room, looking worried. Stone slams the ZIP door in the face of the camera, and we return to ringside.)
Yale- Someone attacked Gidget! Why would they do that?
Bryan- I have no idea!
Yale- Oh well! Heh!
Bryan- Well, fans, this has been a huge night! Let’s head to the ring, where we’ll decide a number one contender!
(My Own Summer hits, and the crowd goes crazy. The Jhub heads to the ring, and hops in.)
Andrews- The following contest is set for one fall, and will decide the number one contender to the World Championship! Introducing first, form Stamford, Connecticut, weighing in at 278 pounds. . . The Jhub!
(The Jhub stands in the ring as My Own Summer fades out. Born to be Wild hits, and the fans cheer again. Rollins confidently struts to the ring, and slides in.)
Andrews- And his opponent, weighing in at 225 pounds. . . Rich ‘The Renegade’ Rollins!
Bryan- This should be an amazing contest! Two of the industry’s biggest stars are facing off! There’s the bell, and Rollins and the Jhub shake hands in the center of the ring!
Yale- Ahh, I hate this sportsmanship crap!
Bryan- They break off and circle the ring! Rollins move sin first, and connects with three quick jabs! The Jhub ducks under a fourth, and ties Rollins up with a rear waistlock!
Yale- Rollins ducks down and takes the Jhub over! The Jhub gets back up, and clobbers Rollins with a quick clothesline! Rollins is down, as the Jhub bounces off the ropes!
Bryan- The Jhub hops over Rollins, who gets back up! Jhub bounces back, and Rollins catches him high in the chest with a flipping dropkick! The Jhub goes down, and rolls to the floor!
Yale- Rollins backs off, as the Jhub takes a breath and climbs back in. Rollins moves in, but the Jhub takes him down with a shoulder block! Rollins rolls over and gets to his feet, as the Jhub hooks him up!
Bryan- The Jhub lifts Rollins up, and drops him with a vertical suplex! The Jhub floats over! ONE! No, only a one count! Rollins gets back to his feet, as the Jhub shoves him into the turnbuckle!
Yale- The Jhub has Rollins in the corner, and is putting the boots to him! The Jhub stomps away, until Rollins catches his boot! Rollins backs the Jhub up, and takes him down with a dragon screw!
Bryan- Rollins may be going after the Jhub’s still injured knee! The Jhub slowly rises, as Rollins bounces off the ropes! He heads for the Jhub, but the Jhub hits a powerslam!
Yale- Rollins is down hard, as the Jhub covers! ONE! TWO!! Kickout! The Jhub picks Rollins up, and goes for a scoop slam! But Rollins slides down behind him, hooks his head, and drops him with a reverse DDT!
Bryan- Wow! Rollins covers the Jhub! ONE! TWO!! Kickout! The Jhub is still very much alive, as Rollins mounts an offense! Rollins bounces off the ropes and drops a quick leg over the Jhub’s throat!
Yale- The Jhub sits up, trying to catch his breath, but Rollins slaps on a rear chinlock! The Jhub quickly twists around, and breaks the hold! He takes Rollins by the legs, and steps through! He turns him over! Sharpshooter!
Bryan- But Rollins turns over again, before the Jhub can get it locked on, grabs him by the belt, and rolls him up! One! TWO! The Jhub gets a shoulder up! They break off the assault, and the crowd is loving this!
Yale- Oh, please, and now they’re shaking hands again! What has happened to the Jhub?! When did he become a nice guy?
Bryan- The crowd appreciates it, as they tie up in the middle of the ring! The Jhub hooks Rollins, and goes for a Downward Spiral! But Rollins shoves him off, and the Jhub goes down!
Yale- The Jhub gets up to face a waiting Rollins, who lets his foot fly! Superkick- NO! The Jhub catches Renegade’s foot, pulls him in, and takes him down with a T-Bone suplex!
Bryan- Wow! The Jhub lifts Rollins up again, and sends him hard into the corner! Rollins staggers out, and the Jhub charges in! But Rollins meets him with a back elbow, and the Jhub goes down!
Yale- Rollins hops up to the second turnbuckle, and jumps! Elbow drop! Both men are hurting, but Rollins seems to be in command! The Renegade picks the Jhub up, and hooks him!
Bryan- Front facelock. . .He lifts the Jhub up! Suplex! Rollins gets back up, and he’s heading for the top rope! The Jhub isn’t moving! Rollins takes off! ANARCHIST ELBOW! But the Jhub rolls out of the way!
Yale- Rollins lands hard on his side, and the Jhub tries to get to his feet! The Jhub has a huge opening here, and he needs to capitalize on it! Rollins isn’t moving, and the Jhub is to his feet!
Bryan- The Jhub lifts Rollins up, but Rollins shoves the Jhub away! SUPERKICK! There’s a superkick out of nowhere! I don’t believe it! Rollins covers! ONE! TWO!! THRE- WHAT?! The Jhub gets a shoulder up!
Yale- How did he do that? Rollins is confused, but he’s heading for the top rope again! He’s up, and he takes off! Anarchist Elbow! He connects the second time, and covers!
Bryan- ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! He got him!
(The bell rings and the crowd cheers. Born to be Wild plays, and the ref raises Renegade’s arm.)
Andrews- Here is your winner, Rich ‘The Renegade’ Rollins!
Bryan- And with that hard-fought battle, Rich Rollins is the number on contender to Octavian’s title! But that’s if Octavian is still champion after tonight!
(Rollins helps the Jhub up, and they shake hands once more. The crowd cheers as the Jhub slaps the mat in frustration, and Rollins and Jhub head to the back.)
Bryan- Well, fans, this is it. The World title is about to be defended, and there will be NO interference tolerated in this match!
Yale- Now, I’m the biggest fan of Octavian of everybody, but I’m not so sure this was a good idea. I mean, Khan is unstoppable!
(Debonair hits, and the crowd goes ballistic. The lights dim, and Khan slowly marches to the ring. He removes his robe and slides under the bottom rope.)
Andrews- The following contest, set for one fall, will allow NO interference, and is for the GCW World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, from Hokkaido, Japan, weighing in at 280 pounds. . . Khan!
(The cheers turn to boos as Might of Rome hits. Octavian confidently walks to the ring, with a determined look on his face.)
Andrews- And his opponent, from Rome, Italy, weighing in at 285 pounds, he is the GCW World Heavyweight Champion. . . Octavian!!!
Bryan- This is it! Octavian looks very focused, as he steps into the ring, and the bell rings! Khan and Octavian are staring at each other from across the ring, until they meet in the center!
Yale- Octavian is trash talking, but Khan is ignoring it! Finally, Khan fires a right! Octavian returns it! And the fight is on! Octavian seems to be taking over, until Khan ducks a right hand, and fires a knife-edge chop!
Bryan- Octavian is staggered, as Khan hits him with a standing dropkick that sends him to the corner! Khan runs in, hops onto Octavian’s chest, and hits him with a Tiger-Flip! Octavian bails out to the floor!
Yale- This is not good! Octavian has got to get Khan down and wrestle him! Octavian is recovering on the floor here in front of us, but Khan is on the move! Khan charges and leaps over the top rope, catching Octavian with a suicide dive!
(The crowd goes crazy as Khan and Octavian both go down.)
Bryan- This is amazing! Khan is taking the World Champ on full steam, and Octavian is in real trouble here! In a few short moments, we could see a new World Champion crowned!
Yale- Khan is back up, but Octavian is still hurting! Khan lifts him up, and hooks him! Khan lifts Octavian up and drops him in a vertical suplex on the floor! Octavian is in real trouble here, and Khan is looking to capitalize!
Bryan- Khan lifts the champion up, and slides him into the ring! Khan hops onto the apron, as Octavian slowly gets to his feet! Khan mounts the turnbuckle, and takes off!
Yale- Khan flies with a moonsault, but Octavian sidesteps him and Khan lands hard on the canvass! Octavian stomps Khan in the skull, and slaps on a front facelock! This is what Octavian has to do!
Bryan- That’s right,
if Octavian can keep Khan grounded, he can beat him on the canvass! Khan is struggling for a way out, but
Octavian has him locked in good! Khan
finally gets to his feet, but can’t break the hold!
Yale- Khan kicks Octavian in the gut, but Octavian counters by lifting Khan up and drops him on his back with a modified suplex! Great move, and he’s still got the facelock on!
Bryan- Octavian showing some unique innovation there, as Khan tries to get up once more! They’re back up, and Octavian tries the suplex again! But Khan lands on his feet, and drops to his knees! There’s a backslide on Octavian!
Yale- ONE! TWO!! NO! Wow, I’ve never seen Khan use a move like that before! Octavian gets back up, but Khan takes him over with a deep arm drag! Khan is showing some wrestling moves here!
Bryan- Octavian gets back up, and charges in! He catches Khan high with a clothesline, and Khan goes head over heels! Wow! This gives Octavian some time to recover!
Yale- Khan gets back to his feet, and Octavian sends him into the ropes! Khan bounces back, and catches Octavian in the face with a spinning heel kick! Octavian goes down, as Khan heads to the top!
Bryan- Khan is on his favorite perch now, as Octavian gets back up! Khan takes off, and hits Octavian with a big missile dropkick! Octavian could be done!
Yale- But Khan isn’t going for the cover! He’s headed to the top rope again! But Octavian is up, as Khan mounts the turnbuckle backwards! Octavian jumps into the top rope, and Khan loses his balance!
Bryan- Khan falls rather precariously on the turnbuckle, and Octavian somehow climbs behind him! Octavian lifts Khan up and brings him down with a BIG belly to back suplex from the top rope!
Yale- Octavian is really taking it to Khan! Khan is hurt, but so is Octavian! Octavian finally manages to drape an arm over Khan! ONE! TWO! NO! One arm isn’t going to keep Khan down, I hate to say!
Bryan- Khan slowly rises, as does Octavian. Octavian lifts Khan up, and drops him with an inverted atomic drop! Octavian follows it up with a clothesline, but Khan ducks! Octavian misses and turns around, to catch a roundhouse kick to the jaw!
Yale- WOW! Octavian goes right down to the mat, and his entire face may have been broken! Khan seems to like it, but he isn’t hesitating! He’s headed to the top rope! This could be it! Get up, Octavian!
Bryan- Khan mounts the top and takes off! MOONSAULT! Khan connects! He covers! This is it! ONE!! TWO!!! THREE- NO! Somehow, Octavian kicks out!
Yale- Khan doesn’t like it, but he’s not stopping! He lifts Octavian up and kicks him in the gut! He hooks the arms! He’s going for the tiger-driver! Wait, Octavian counters with a back body drop! But Khan holds on, and brings him down with a sunset flip!
Bryan- But Octavian rolls through and gets back to his feet! He grabs Khan by the legs, and slingshots him! Khan flies, and goes all the way over the top to the floor! WOW!
Yale- Great move by the champion! Now Octavian is down to the floor, and he’s headed this way! Khan is slowly rising, as Octavian grabs a steel chair! Khan is in for it now!
Bryan- Octavian finds Khan up, and swings with the chair! He brings it down over Khan’s skull! Ring the damn bell!
Yale- No way! This can’t end in disqualification! The ref is letting this go! Khan is still standing, as Octavian swings again! Khan ducks, and Octavian connects with the ringpost!
Bryan- Khan gives Octavian three quick kicks to the gut, and Octavian drops the chair! Khan hooks Octavian up, and hits a DDT onto the chair! Octavian is out cold!
Yale- And he’s busted wide open! Khan now heads for the Spanish announce table, and tosses the monitors to the floor! What’s he thinking? Octavian is still down, and Khan lifts him up!
Bryan- Khan brings him to the announce table, and tosses him on top! Now he’s headed to the ring! Khan climbs the turnbuckle! What in the hell is he thinking?!
Yale- Khan takes off! MY GOD! Khan hits an elbow drop from the turnbuckle to the announce table, and both men crumble to the ground! The Spanish announce team is destroyed! So are Khan and Octavian!
Bryan- These two men will do anything to eliminate each other! I do not believe this! And the ref is still letting this one go! And somehow, some way, Octavian and Khan are getting to their feet!
Yale- Octavian staggers to the ring and slides in, only to recuperate there. Khan is standing, as he heads for the ring himself! Khan bends down and picks up the chair! He’s bringing it with him!
Bryan- This isn’t good! Someone is going to get hurt tonight! Octavian slowly gets to his feet, as Khan readies the chair! He swings, and damn near takes Octavian’s head off!
Yale- What a shot! Octavian is down on his chest, as Khan drops the chair and heads to the top rope once again! Octavian is slowly trying to get to his feet, and Khan takes off!
Bryan- It looks like Khan is going for a leg drop, but Octavian is up with the chair! HE HITS KHAN IN THE FACE ON THE WAY DOWN! My God!
Yale- Khan was going for a leg drop, but Octavian hit him in the face with the chair on his way down! Khan is hurt badly, as Octavian makes the cover! ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! I DO NOT BELIEVE IT!
(The bell rings and the fans boo like hell. Octavian’s arm is raised, but he’s too worn out to celebrate.)
Andrews- Here is your winner, and STILL GCW World Heavyweight Champion. . . Octavian!
Bryan- Just like that, this one is over! But. . .wait a second. . .Khan is standing! Khan is back up! I don’t know how, but Khan is up! And he’s furious!
Yale- Khan lifts Octavian up, and tosses him to the outside! The crowd is going crazy as Khan follows him out! He begins stomping away at Octavian! This isn’t fair!
Bryan- Khan heads back to the ring, and pulls the chair out! Octavian gets up, and Khan cracks him over the skull with a chair shot! Octavian goes back down, and now Khan is headed for the crowd!
Yale- The fans are loving every bit of this, as Khan rips a steel barricade out of place! My God! Khan heads back to the rising Octavian, and brings the barricade down over his back!
Bryan- WOW! Khan just bent that steel barricade over Octavian’s back! Security is rushing to the ring, hopefully to end this assault! But now Khan is attacking security! Khan lays out two guards with swift kicks, and a third with a punch to the face!
Yale- The security guards are swarming Khan, but Khan is not to be denied! He’s assaulting the security! One by one, they’re all falling! Khan lays two more out with a leg sweep, and the remaining two are running!
Bryan- Octavian is slowly back to his feet, as Khan moves back in! Khan assaults him once more, but Octavian is fighting back! These two men still want more! Now the police have been sent to the ring!
Yale- It’s the cops! There’s got to be twenty of them! They’re slowly managing to pull Octavian and Khan apart, but they still want at each other! Wait, Khan just hit a cop! And so did Octavian! I don’t believe this!
Bryan- Octavian and Khan are now taking out the cops! They’ve broken free, and have met in the aisleway again! They’re still going at it, as the cops regroup! Finally, they manage to pull them apart!
Yale- The cops are swarming Octavian and Khan, and the fans are loving this! Finally, they manage to handcuff the champion and Khan, but they are still trying to break free!
Bryan- Fans, we are out of time from Meltdown! These two still want each other! Tune in next week, and hopefully we’ll see more!
(The show fades out at Octavian and Khan attempt to break free from the swarm of officers.)
