Stage Area Description
-The name of the giant screen is the MegaTron. The stage underneath it runs about fifty feet from side to side, and is about ten feet off the ground. The entrance ramp runs at a down angle from the stage, ending fifty feet before the ring. The ring itself is a normal size ring, with red and black ropes for Meltdown, black and blue for Oblivion. The announcers sit on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp.
Headquarters
-GCW Headquarters is located in Columbus, Ohio. The building is located downtown, and is ten stories tall. On the top floor lies President Caldera’s office. Below are the offices of the creative teams, writers, tech crew, and other employees.
Management
-On-camera management includes President Caldera, owner and chairman of GCW. The current Commissioner is Octavian.
First rule of thumb. . .Use interviewers to conduct interviews, not cameramen. Cameramen are a decent default, but with real names available, try not to use a cameraman. Camermen never do anything more than run the cameras. . . Keep it that way.
Be sure to know your surroundings and settings. Feel free to use GCW HQ and the ring area, but try to vary your settings. Don’t come down to the ring for every roleplay you do. Be sure to be descriptive when describing your settings. This way, your interactions with the setting is more realistic.
In an interview, do not use words that a real wrestler wouldn’t use. Examples would be "Roleplay" and "E-fed." Avoid using terms such as "Jobber." Do not use "Smart Fan" terminology.
Be sure to know your opponent. Read his/her roleplays carefully. Get to know their psychology. Do not just assume you know things about your opponent, and do not go simply by what is written in cards. Read roleplays in detail, and use them in your responses.
Include movement. Don’t simply have your character stand there and talk. This ties in to setting description, as your character should interact with his/her surroundings in order to make them seem more human. Be sure to have some dynamic movement.
End strongly. Catchphrases can be used to end roleplays definitely, but should NOT be stolen from real wrestlers. This is a quick end to any career in an e-fed. A brief summary of the roleplay can also be used to end. Either way, be sure to close up your point, and not simply stop after you’ve made it.
